On May 16, Namibian MR67 road upgrading project cooperatively constructed by Qingjian International and CMEC held the groundbreaking ceremony. This project, with full length of 86km, was the longest road project that Qingjian Group had ever undertaken. President of the Republic of Namibia H.E. Mr. Hifikepunye Pohamba attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. He thanked China for its assistance to Namibia, hoping this road to become a road of friendship connecting people in the two countries.
