On January 7, China-ASEAN Business Council held a ceremony in Beijing to present awards of “2013 Top Ten Successful Chinese Enterprises in ASEAN” and “2013 Top Ten Successful ASEAN Enterprises in China” to 20 enterprises from China and ASEAN. Qingjian won the award for “2013 Top Ten Successful Chinese Enterprises in ASEAN”, CEO Zhang Zhihua won the award for “2013 Top Ten Successful Chinese Entrepreneurs in ASEAN”, and the Executive Vice-president Wang Congyuan accepted the awards on behalf of Qingjian Group.

Yu Ping, Vice-chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said in his speech that the enterprises winning awards have achieved outstanding results in China-ASEAN economic cooperation and made active contribution to the mutually beneficial cooperation between China-ASEAN enterprises.

Nearly 300 people attended the sodality, including the officials from the ASEAN Embassy in China, famous enterprise representatives and representatives of chambers of commerce from China and ASEAN, as well as prominent ASEAN scholars. 

ASEAN’s major media and Chinese media including People’s Daily, People’s Net, Sina and NetEase all reported the activity.
